Joshua Tree National Park was one of those bucket list locations for me… I have always wanted to visit the desert, see the sunrise, watch the stars and just be in this magical place. I am so lucky to live in a country with some of the most beautiful National Parks and California is full of some of the most iconic views and landscapes.
If you are looking for a place to go for an instant refresh, photography, inspiration, star gazing, camping, and just appreciating mother nature, Joshua Tree is definitely the perfect destination!
WHERE TO STAY
A modern bohemian retreat for the desert wanderer, that overlook the breathtaking desert landscape and adjacent cactus garden.
Every place I travel I want to turn memories into my own personalized wall art.
With a short walk can be accessed from the White Tank Campground. This has to be one of my favorite areas in the park. The natural arch is beautiful. The best views are from the rocks directly in front of the arch.
CHOLLA CACTUS GARDEN
The Cholla Cactus Garden is a short loop located 20 miles north of the Cottonwood Visitor Center in Joshua Tree. The garden contains a high concentration of these cholla cacti and nothing else. It might not sound very interesting but this garden is one of my favorite places for photos.
This popular destination, perched on the crest of the Little San Bernardino Mountains, provides panoramic views of the Coachella Valley and is well worth the 20-minute drive from Park Boulevard down Keys View Road. The view is amazing.
