There is nothing I love more than finding a piece this simple and well-structured that it doesn’t even need a ton of styling to look special.
The obsession started innocently enough. Since I’m always boutique-hopping on the Lower East Side (let’s call it “research” for work). I’ve found this gem that’s filled with garments of this kind: whether it’s a backless dress, an asymmetric jumpsuit or a cashmere crop top, this store is packed with beautiful things that, in a perfect world, would be decorating every hanger in my imaginary walk-in closet.
Reformation is a “factory to closet” brand from Los Angeles and they design, manufacture, photograph and ship everything from the same building. Everything they make comes from sustainable materials, repurposed vintage clothing or deadstock fabrics, and everything is created in their own factory in L.A. where sustainability and ethics are kept in check.
