Skin Care Routine

I get asked all the time on my snapchat and Instagram about my skincare routine. I’m constantly trying different products and testing out new things. Just to give you all a quick lowdown of my skin- I have combination skin, oily on the T-zone. I have finally found a skincare routine that I am happy with! Here is what I’ve been using & loving the past few months!

morning
morningWhen I wake up, I’ll rinse my face with only water, don’t wash it with a cleanser in the morning, at all, never! Because at night your skin is rebuilding some of the oils that you need to keep your skin young, and it balances the PH. This is one of my beauty secrets 🙂

I just put on the Esteé Lauder Perfectly Clean Hydrating Toner (1), followed by the Caudalíe Vinoperfect Radiance Serum (2), this satiny serum is a remarkable formula for smoother, brighter-looking skin and I finish with the Lancer Nourish Cream (3), Dr. Harold Lancer is responsible for many celebrities’ clear skin, I simply love this cream that you even can apply around the eyes!

I do not sleep in my makeup at all! It’s the worst. If I have a lot of makeup I start taking it off with wipes, I love the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes and then I wash my face with the Eve Lom Cleanser (1), winner of countless awards and deemed “probably the best cleanser in the world” by Vogue, is the anchor of the brand’s skincare regime; the botanical formula includes cocoa butter, eucalyptus, hops, chamomile, and clove oils, a blend that virtually melts into skin as it gently lifts all signs of makeup and grime buildup; I finish with a hot towel in my face for a few minutes. I don’t use a toner at night time, usually they close your pores, so at this time I just want my skin to absorb all the nutrients from the products. After cleaning and with dried skin I moisturize with some drops of Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair or Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Oil (2), this one is a natural botanical oil with a retinol complex formula designed to smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles and help correct sun and pollution damage to skin and Estée Lauder’s has been part of the family for years.

I end the night with eye cream from Tata Harper (3), hands down to this 100% natural, organic, & non-toxic anti-aging skincare products and with my winter beauty must-have to keep you warm and glowing all season Crème De La Mer (4) before I’m off to bed, fully moisturized.

Once in a While…

Sem título #16

Every week I try to take some time for myself and get a home facial, usually after a hot bath I exfoliate my skin with Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel – Extra Strength Formula Pads (1), a two-step anti-aging facial peel that reduces fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, fights blemishes and helps with dark spots and redness; I use them 2 a 3 times a week. Then it’s time to eliminate toxins and minimize pores with the Caudalie Instant Detox Mask (2), a true “rehab” for the skin; for any touch ups during the day, I can’t forget to tell you about my Caudalíe Beauty Elixir (2), I take it everywhere with me. It has this cooling effect that makes my skin feel instantly nourished and fresh…it’s addicting!
After purifying the skin it’s time to get that glow with a beauty mask, I alternate between Estée Lauder ‘Nutritious Vitality8™ Night’ Radiant Overnight and Tata Harper’s Resurfacing Mask (3), this is the holy grail for glowing skin who got me obsessed and the Estée Lauder’s it’s a sleeping deep hydrating mask.
At last but not least my Nuxe Rêve de Miel Honey Lip Balm (4), I adore this luxe French balm; the honey, plant oil, and grapefruit essence make it one of the biggest saviors of chapped lips out there.

I apologize this time for not having this post translated in Portuguese, but you know what? You can always email me with all your questions, I will be so happy to share with you some more of my beauty tips! 🙂
